Are you struggling to find creative ways to get more protein in? Here are a few of my favorite protein sources that are easy and help me hit my goals.

Collagen Protein Powder – supports joints, hair, skin, nails, organs, and muscle recovery. The bonus is our body already produces it. It evaporates in hot or cold unlike most protein powders. I love adding it to my coffee or drinking the chocolate collagen with hot water late at night when I have a sweet tooth. Add a tsp of whip cream to top it off.

Lentils – These are a great source of protein and fiber, 10 grams for a 1/2 cup. I love adding these in with chicken and vegetables or any meal I make. I buy the steamed lentils from Trader Joe’s as they are ready to eat warm or cold. A quick and easy meal when you don’t have a lot of time.

Greek Fage 0% – 18 grams of protein for 3/4 of a cup only 90 calories. Add a 1/2 cup of berries for a complete low calorie meal. Fast and easy. You can add natural sweeteners like honey to sweeten it up.

Hard Boiled eggs – 2 hard boiled eggs is 12 grams of protein and 140 calories. The yolk provides you with healthy fat in your diet as well. Easy to carry with you on the go.
